It seems entirely possible that the previous owner doesn’t want to be reunited with his copy of “Raw Power.” But it might be nice if he was made aware that the record he so passionately endorsed, right down to which issue and page of Creem magazine we could read more about Iggy and the band, was adopted by a new owner who isn’t afraid to make a racket screaming along to “Gimme Danger”. That last line in his note, “You’ll like it (I hope),” it makes us imagine some aging punk, staring wistfully out of his window and wondering if his “Raw Power” is inspiring another generation to search and destroy.
